A holiday note from Aunty Lani

Aloha and Mele Kalikimaka from Aunty Lani!  It’s that wonderful time of the year when ‘ohana gathers to celebrate the holidays but like Uncle Mike says….share aloha…..not covid!  So, while you are enjoying your time together, it is also important to still follow some simple rules.  Keep wearing your beautiful aloha design masks when inside and stay home or away from others when you are not feeling well.

It gets very busy here on Manokalanipo (another name for Kaua‘i) during the holidays so please put your chill on and give yourself plenty of time to get to different places.  Our workforce has still not recovered 100% so things can still move REAL SLOW.  It can be slow at the airport and it can be slow when you get on our roadways so slow your roll and enjoy just being alive as we shift from 2021 to 2022. Not everybody made it you know!

Gas is EXPAAAAANSIVE!  So please go check out our website getaroundkauai.com and find some walking tours and other things to do rather than drive, drive, drive every day.  Hard for meet people in one car!

You all have one awesome holiday season and I hope you find peace, aloha and a new zest for life that will carry you into 2022.
